Automatically turn on your Philips Hue lighting
With the Hue Motion Sensor, you can automatically turn on your Hue lighting when you walk into the room. Perfect for the hall, bathroom, basement, or garage. You can set an ambience and light intensity for every room in the Hue app; this will need to be activated. The Hue Motion Sensor automatically turns the lights off when it no longer detects movement.
Change day and night settings
You can also choose different day and night settings. For example: dimmed light in the evenings, soft lighting that doesn't wake everyone when someone gets up. The Hue lights will only be activated when you really need them thanks to the integrated daylight sensor. You can easily change the light sensitivity in the the Hue app and the lights will even be turned off automatically when the sensor no longer detects movement. This way the Hue Motion Sensor will also save energy!
Good to know
The Hue Motion Sensor is fed by 2 (included) AAA batteries and is wirelessly connected to the Hue Bridge. You can place it anywhere in your home. The installation will only take a couple of minutes because of the Hue App. You can connect up to 50 Hue lamps and 12 accessories (like the Motion Sensor) to your Hue Bridge. Start with one of the starter kits or a separate Hue Bridge and add more Philips Hue lamps and accessories later. Control your Hue system with the intuitive Hue app for iOS or Android smart devices. The Philips Hue products have wireless controls based on ZigBee technology. The Hue products work wirelessly because of this extremely reliable, energy efficient technology.
